Septembers Glossy Box

I know this ones a bit late but my October glossy box is due any day so i wanted to do a quick review on my September one before that one arrives!
So if you don't know what a glossy box is, because i know if you read alot of beauty blogs you will know but alot of my friends when i put a pic of my box up on blackberry they were like wow whats that?! Lol anyway Glossy box is a UK based company that you can sign up to for £10.00 a month plus p+p and they send you a gorgeous box full of luxury samples and products every month. Similar to what they have in the US the birch box.

This was my 1st glossy box and i was really pleased with it! I got some great bits!
The packaging is stunning! so professional even the outer packaging which you can see in the pic below is gorgeous! I use this box now to put make up and things in!

I did have the same problem as quite a few other people did, my HD brow kit had smashed in the post :(

I emailed the people at glossy box and they were really nice and sent me a new one straight away! Just look how smashed it is tho they must have thrown my poor box around at post depot :'( lol never mind i have a new one now so I'm happy :D

What i got this month...
HD brows Eye&Brow Palette
I was so excited when i saw the HD brow kit!  Sooo happy i got this they could of just gave me this in the box and i would of been happy lol. This palette comes with four gorgeous matte colours which you can use to shape your brows or use them as eye shadows. These sell for £19.95!

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil
I was really happy with this too just look at the size of it 125ml that's full size! I love trying new hair products especially hair oils as i use these on my sons hair too! I tried this on his hair and i used the tiniest bit and his hair was soo smooth and silky with a nice shine! smells lovely too! Soo happy with this product! I would buy this product again but i think this one is going to last me a very long time as a little goes along way. This is usually £12.49!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse
This a really cute little bottle of Nuxe oil and it says its for face,body or hair. I haven't tried this on my hair but i did try it on my hands and it left them feeling really soft and it smells quite nice too!

 Plum By Mary Greenwell Eau De Parfum & StriVectin SD Eye Concentrate
These last two products i haven't used because they are just not me. When i saw the plum perfume i thought pretty packaging really stands out but the smell is just not for me personally its quite florally and strong but i know people that would love this scent! And i don't use eye creams so i cant even review the StriVectin eye concentrate.

I'm very happy with my Glossy box and i am soooo excited and looking forward to my next one! I didn't expect to get such big full size products the HD brows and mythic oil were such a suprise!
If you haven't tried Glossy Box i would defo recommend them! There are quite a few monthly boxes coming out now that i will be looking in to so check back soon.

What do you think of Glossy Box?

E.L.F Haul!

A lot of you probably saw that Elf had a huge sale… 50% off!! I had been wanting to get some Elf make up for ages so when I saw the sale I was like WOW! I had heard really good things about their make up line so was excited to try it out. Elf is not expensive at all there prices are really good, so much of there stuff starts from £1.50 and really good quality. I was really impressed because they sent me an email and a txt saying that they were sorry if there was any delay in my order but they had such a high volume of orders they were trying to get everyone’s sent out as quick as they could. I didn’t wait long at all I received my order within a few days!

What I got :

*4 x Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils { Iconic ivory, Gunmetal, Boldly Bronzed, Black bandit}
*2 x Luscious Liquid Lipsticks { Maple sugar, Baby lips }
* Plumping Lip Glaze { Baby doll }
* Mineral Lipstick {Natural Nymph }
* Mineral Eyelid Primer { Sheer }
* Natural Radiance Blusher { Coy }
* Liquid Eye shadow { Sultry satin }
* Liquid Eyeliner { Black }
* Waterproof Eyeliner Pen { Black }
* Eye shadow Primer { sheer }
* Studio Pressed Powder { Sand }
* Studio Kabuki Brush
* Studio Make up Mist & Set
* Brush Shampoo
* Daily Brush Cleaner

I wont go into detail about each one, ill just share with you my top 5 from this haul otherwise this would be a very big post lol!

5. Daily Brush Cleaner & Brush Shampoo
These have been so helpful especially for my foundation brushes! They  clean them really well. I have been using the daily cleaner after every use and using the shampoo when my brushes need it. You get alot of product in these, they will last me for ages! Well worth the money. They are usually £3.50 each i paid £1.75 each!

4. Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils

I got four of them in :
Iconic ivory, Gunmetal, Boldly Bronzed and Black Bandit.

I think they looked really good especially with the littler sharpener on top and I loved the colours especially Boldly Bronzed!
Swatches :

They are very creamy and will look gorgeous on the top of your eye or even as a eyeshadow. I found the more I used the more intense the colour so you can use them to go with a natural look or for more of a dramatic look. The iconic ivory really surprised me I thought it would be the least shimmery but its actually has the most shimer out of the 4 I brought. it’s a really nice white silvery colour really pretty! The black bandit is the least shimmery but still makes a nice eyeliner! The Gunmetal and bodly bronzed are really nice too and they are not over the top sparkly but just a really nice shimmer.
They are usually £1.50 each I only paid 75p for them each.

3. Natural Radiance Blusher in Coy

Love this blusher it’s a lovely colour kind of a browny pinky colour and in the light has a mauve colour to it. It is only small but is very pigmented, a little goes along way. Perfect hand bag size and slides up to open.
These are usually £1.50 too so 75p!

2. Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph
Great lipstick in a lovely nude colour. Creamy and easy to apply. Lasts well and doesn’t dry your lips. I like to add gloss on top - I think it looks amazing with gloss! I really want to try runway pink next!
These lipsticks are from the mineral range so they are usually £3.50 so I paid  £1.75.

1. Studio Pressed Powder in Sand.

Love Love Love this powder! Works perfectly with my foundation and my skin tone. Looks very natural and gives a great coverage without it feeling cakey. I have been looking for a new good powder and this is it!

The box and packaging is so professional. Has a handy little mirror and the powder lifts up to reveal a little sponge applicator. I use a brush to apply but is always handy for your handbag. The kabuki brush works great with this, which i also got in this haul that I also love its soo soft! I always use both of these when applying my make up now!

Both of these are from the studio range. The powder is usually £3.50 so a great bargain for £1.75 and the Kabuki face brush is usually £5.00 so was £2.50.

I was very pleased with my haul got some really nice bits for a great price. It only came to £24.70 including p+p. it’s a shame it was their last 50% off sale but they are always doing special offers and their prices are great anyway I would defo recommend them.
If you want to check them out their website is http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk
Since this haul i have ordered lots of more stuff from elf which i will be posting soon, this one would of been finished ages ago but i had to get a new camera wire!
If there are any other things that you want me to review that I havent mentioned please let me know and I will do that for you.
Hope you liked my 1st haul blog please comment would love to hear what you thought.

Did you guys get anything from the 50% off sale?
