Real Techniques Brushes - Part 1

I was so excited when i heard that Samantha Chapman from Pixiwoo on youtube was bringing out her own range of make up brushes! Now if you haven't seen Pixiwoo's videos on youtube.. what are you waiting for?! Their videos are amazing. Two sisters who are make up artists do tutorials on youtube and create the most beautiful looks, they have over 40 million hits on youtube! They use these brushes in their videos and they looked fab i had to get them! I decided to break this post up in two so ill start off with the starter set.

Starter Set - your eyes enhanced

The starter set has all the brushes you need to create any beautiful eye look. All the brushes are colour coded and the name of the brushes are clearly printed on the side. All the eye brushes come in this lovely purple colour! All these brushes are super soft and have smooth handles. The bottoms are flat so you can stand them up which has come in so handy!
Base Shadow Brush

applies a smooth, flawless foundation of colour
Small flat brush to apply your eyeshadow base colour all over the lids!

 Deluxe Crease Brush

soft, over sized design for effortless contouring
I was able to create a smokey eye really quickly using this brush i love it!

Accent Brush

designed for precision detailing, spotlighting, highlighting, and smudging
A tiny flat brush, i used this for highlighting my eyes and smudging my eye liner slightly.

Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush
tapered cut is ideal for dense or fine eyeliner application
A thin tiny brush Perfect for applying your eyeliner!

 Brow Brush
distinctive shape easily defines eyebrows
I don't really add any colour or shape to my eyebrows but i have used this brush. I used this to add eyeshadow round top of my lashes to make my eyelashes appear thicker. I love brushes this shape for adding eyeshadow detail.

The set comes in lovely packaging. you can tell Samantha put real thought into the case as it can be used as a standing display case for your brushes or folds away for travel. A really great idea for home,  travelling and make up artists. I love having them on display they look so professional and they are so accessible!

I brought my starter set from boots for £21.99 and was definitely worth it. These brushes are amazing. I haven't stopped using them they are such good quality. I apply my make up so much quicker now and you can really see the difference when i use this brushes! I love them!
Hope you all enjoyed i will but part 2 up tomorrow!
Thanks for reading :)

Supermarket mini haul! Lol!

So i went to tesco yesterday and picked up some goodies that i wanted to share with you guys!
I needed to get some more make up remover so i saw these and thought i would give them a try. They have a range of different ones but i thought id try the sensitive ones. The eye make up pads are really good and get rid of all your eye make up. The face wipes are good too. They do the job and are really good value for money.
Cleansing wipes 99p and eye make up pads were 95p!

I picked up the wrong mascara doh! i thought it was the maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes! The packaging is very similar. This mascara is just not for me im dissapointed. Maybe i will use it for my bottom lashes :/ The brush is tiny i thought ok maybe thats a good thing i can get to all my lashes. It just didnt make my eyelashes long and thick how i personally like them. Maybe if you just want a really natural eye look you would like this but its not for me!

I also brought some fab magazines with such good gifts with them. And check out Holly willoughby on the front cover she looks amazing! This months cosmopolitan has 2 free clinique products with it :O Mine came with Clinique 7 day scrub cream which i havent tried yet but i bet its good! And the amazing clinique high impact mascara which i am loving! Makes your eyelashes look so full and long. The brush is really good with lots of bristles to get all your lashes and the brush is really long so application is quick and easy!
Before and after! Love this mascara!
The magazine was £3.50 i would defo recomend buying it! Love cosmo!
I also got glamour mag for £2 which came with Percy & Reed conditioner. I will be using this soon and see what its like :) it also came with a free sample of  Estee Lauder invisible fluid make up!
I also brought this MNY nail varnish by Maybelline. Packaging is cute and i liked the pinky colour. ill have to try it out and let you know what its like. It was £2.99 and in colour 342!

So that was my lil haul hope you enjoyed reading and get yourself some goodies next time you go shopping! :)

NYX Smokey Eyes Pallette

I am loving this gorgeous NYX pallette at the moment! I had never tried NYX before as i didnt think we could get them here in the UK. So at the time i got this from a ebay shop and it was around £9. Ive looked online now and they have a UK website with some really good prices so i will defo be buying some goodies from there soon ;)
I just went to get the link for the site and got so distracted by the online shop oopsie :/ lol anyway the link is:
 http://www.nyxcosmetics.co.uk/index.htm

The packaging is very sleek and stylish. The outter packaging has directions on the back how to create a beautiful smokey eye. Which is always helpful. I really like the packaging kind of reminds me of Sleek make up pallettes. And i lovee the huge mirror in the inside, this would be great to take if you were travelling somewhere!

The colours are gorgeous and perfect for a smokey eye. Theres a real good mix of shimmery, matte, or metalic shades. Each colour is highly pigmented and rich.

Top row from left to right
Bottom row from left to right
The colours dont actually have any names like alot of popular pallettes do but who cares, they are stunning shades and you can create so many different looks with. I especially love the 2nd colour in from the left on 1st row and 3rd shade in on the bottom row.

I have some NYX jumbo pencils which i will review soon and hopefully get some more NYX products from their site soon!

What do you guys think of NYX?

Hope you enjoyed dont forget to follow and like ;)

Very excited to see that we are finally getting Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter range in boots this month! If you are a beauty blogger yourself or follow beauty blogs you will have probably seen so many people raving about these. So i am very excited to finally get the chance to try them too!
They are buttery balms with beautiful shiny color to give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips! And the packaging looks amazing!
There are so many shades to choose from im not sure which one i will chose but i have noticed in the US they have 20 shades and in boots it says 14 shades. Any one know why that is?
Boots actually has a waiting list for these so you can be one of the first to try them. An exclusive pre order! All you do is fill out your email address. I think its a good idea if you want to try these because i think they are going to sell out quickly!
